Nudging: Share a laugh x7

To take a break from the news (local, national, global). To distract myself from the pettiness that rules much of social media. Because 2020 to today has been a sh*t show (pandemic, another possible pandemic, warfare, politics, suffering on big and small scales).

I have found that if I can make someone else laugh, my spirits get lifted in the bargain. So, I plan to combat the negativity with laugher. Each day this week, I’m going to send a text or an email with a kids’ joke/riddle, a silly meme, or a link to an article or story I think might tickle someone else’s funny bone.

Laughter is the best medicine. Let’s all do some healing this week.

Yesterday I was with a new group of women at a very pleasant gathering. I don’t know what came over me, but I shared the potential title for a book I have been planning on from my 55 years of journal writing. It’s about my experiences with my family. Title: Sacrificial Lambaster. BIG LAUGHS. I just loved it! Making people laugh is the best feeling!
