Nudging: Fix something
Pretty straightforward Nudge…or is it? Is this the week I check off something that has been on the home maintenance to-do list forever, or will I make a call in an effort to heal a rift in a relationship?
Hope you find a meaningful way to nudge yourself this week.

Hi Kathy,
I appreciate your latest NUDGE. I have been thinking of doing some friendship autopsies … with a certain friend in mind to start off. And your NUDGE has given me the courage to take the step. Doing that today.
But also, I watched a program on Friday nite (PBS Kelly Corrigan Tell Me More). Have you seen this show? I just recently found it.
The guest was a neuroscientist, Lisa Feldman Barrett. Here is what caught my mind. She said it is important to train the brain to re-purpose anxiety to determination.
Someone in her past always told her to “get her butterflies flying in formation.”
It really hit home with me because it seems like I’m always running on that butterfly feeling.
And then at the end she said that all of those “little NUDGES add up to a BIG effect.”
In the past, I would have had these thoughts and thought to write them [to you] and I would stop myself asking “who the heck would want to hear what I think?” And that’s no way to be.
You NUDGED me to know that there ARE folks who would want to hear what I think. And I say THANK YOU!
Yours,
Barbara
