Nudged: Take 1 photo a day of things that make me happy
Remember this, from back when we were sheltering in place? The idea was to take photos of things that made us happy, to lift our spirits and foster hope for better days. I recall seeing images on Facebook and Instagram from friends who accepted the challenge.
Now it’s my turn.
P.S. YOU make me happy, simply by being on this 52Nudges adventure with me. Say CHEESE! 😉
What Happened: My first thought was “Thor, Louie, Bear…I’ll just snap 5 photos right now and be done with this!” I’m so glad my Good Angel talked me out of that.
A key part of this Nudge, I discovered, was “1 photo a day.” This became my intention. I noticed, stopped, and appreciated. And the more I noticed and stopped, the more things I found to appreciate. This was brilliant.
Here are a few things that made me happy this week:
…and of course, Louie, pictured in the featured image. My protector, my shadow, my sweet companion. Normally he’s quite camera-shy, but this week he gave me a smile.
The Ah-Hahs: “The more I noticed and stopped, the more things I found to appreciate.” It’s just that simple.
I’d love to hear how this Nudge played out for you. Please share in Comments.
