Re-Nudging: When Nudges inspire Nudges
Dear Nudger, This Nudge reminded me of how much fun it is to share Nudges with friends and family members. I love it when a Guest Nudger or Commenter opens my eyes to a new perspective or inspires me to try something new. That’s exactly what happened to me last fall, which I documented in this bonus post below.
I’d also like to draw your attention to the P.S. If you know someone who might enjoy what we’re doing here–and what we’ll be doing again in round #4 in a couple of weeks–share a post or two and invite them to join us. It’s easy–and free!–to subscribe to get the posts (usually just two each week) in your inbox. — xoKathleen
52+: Bonus Nudges (originally posted on October 5, 2022)
Back in August, Guest Nudger Judith Alex invited us to “Do something touristy” with her. I was so inspired by what she wrote, that I started looking for new adventures I could do close to home.
Included in her story was a mention of the Greenwich Street Steps. San Francisco has several famous staircases, some that wind alongside hidden gardens, some that reveal exceptional views. “I want to do that!” I thought as I read.
So I did! This past weekend, my darling sister joined me to climb (and huff ‘n’ puff a bit) all 163 of the beautifully tiled 16th Avenue Steps.
You know, just when I think I’m out of ideas, someone comes along and nudges me to try something new. I hope you’re getting inspired here too.
P.S. You can partner with a friend on almost all of the nudges. Get someone to join you for accountability, to up the ante, or just to make things more fun!

That looks amazing. Best part: you can skip leg day at the gym guilt free after climbing all those stairs. How was the view up there?
