52+: Our 52nd Nudge is coming up soon

Dear Nudger,

On Sunday, March 3, we will draw our final Nudge for Round 4.0. It will also (deep breath) be my last public Nudge.

I started this project purely for myself, hoping to find my way out of feeling lost, directionless. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do or who I wanted to be. Conferences, workshops, books…nothing felt quite right, so I created my own program and posted the very first Nudge, “Break a rule,” on March 11, 2018.

It has been six very full years of four rounds of 52 + guest posts + interviews, with breaks in between to consider new themes and inspired Nudges (and one break for a broken appendix). And now it’s time for me to make way for something new, to open myself up for new adventures.

I have loved this project. I love the community that has built up around it. I hope you have learned about yourself in the process, have gained new insights into who you have been, who you are becoming, and how wonderful you are right now.

Thank you for joining me on this journey, for supporting and inspiring me.

xoxo Kathleen

52 Nudges has been such a welcome respite in a world of crazy, emotionally wrenching news. Thank you for the reminders to pause, break out of our comfort zones and see the world a little more clearly. I will miss these posts.
